Karol's family: Thinking of you during the loss of your wife/mom. Karol & I grew up together thru 4-h & had so much fun at fair time w/our displays/demonstrations. She was an excellent cook/seamstress. Of course both our mom's were 4-h leaders/learn many of their talents thru 4-h, to carry on to the next generation. Treasure the memories & continue w/the traditions.Karol was special to many of us. Peace w/you all & remember God takes only the best! I'm sure I've see Karol in church when I attend services in Sumner & just couldn't put a name to that being Karol.

We just received a call from Donna Barry about Karol's passing. We extend our sympathy to the family. It is hard to lose a wife, a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, a relative, and a friend. Karol Ann fit these categories plus many more. She will be missed.
We are sorry that we are unable to attend the services. We have been sitting remembering things that we did with your family over the years. I still remember how much fun my dad had playing with Karol Ann when she was little. The Maynard area was a great place to grow up.
Earl and I came to Green Valley, Arizona in January where Donna and Jim spent their winters. One of Jim's friends from near Sumner sent them an email this morning about Karol's passing. Donna just called us to pass on the sad news.
We will be returning to Cedar Rapids about the middle of April. Donna and Jim will head back to Long Lake, Wisconsin the first week of May. It loooks like we will be spending more of our winters here also. We have purchased a house and take possession of it just before we head for Cedar Rapids. Sincerely, Sheila & Earl
